Terms of service
Last updated 27 October 2026.
Yama (yama.ing) is a free hobby app for Magic: The Gathering Commander, run by Bryan Roscoe. By signing in you agree to these terms.
Using Yama
- Yama is free. There are no paid plans and nothing to buy.
- Use it for playing and tracking games, decks and collections. Don't try to break into other accounts, overload the server, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful.
- Some features have fair-use limits (for example simulated games per day), so one account can't use up what everyone shares.
- Be decent to the people you play with. Accounts that abuse Yama or other players may be turned off.
Your content
What you put in Yama (decks, collections, games, notes) stays yours. You let Yama store and show it to you, and to the people you share it with, so the app can work. The privacy policy says how it's handled and how to have it deleted.
Content rights and reuse
© 2026 Bryan Roscoe. All rights reserved in Yama’s original software, written analysis and presentation. Public access to the precon reference does not grant a license to republish Yama’s protected original material. You may browse it, share links and use the stock-list download for deckbuilding. For permission to reproduce protected original material, contact [email protected]. Uses permitted by law remain permitted.
This notice does not claim exclusive rights in facts, game rules, ideas, card lists or third-party material. Card text, artwork, trademarks and other third-party content remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and applicable licenses. Source links identify outside data; Yama’s notice does not replace those sources’ terms.
No guarantees
Yama is provided as is, by one person, on a home server. It may be slow, change, lose data or stop at any time, and simulated results are estimates, not promises about real games. Keep your own copy of anything important. To the extent the law allows, the person running Yama isn't liable for any loss from using it.
Magic: The Gathering
Yama is unofficial fan software, permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy, and is not approved, endorsed or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Magic: The Gathering, card names, card art and mana symbols belong to Wizards of the Coast. Card data and images come from Scryfall.
Ending
You can stop using Yama and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. Yama may end an account that breaks these terms, or shut down entirely.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, this page will show the new date. Questions: [email protected].
